David Dawson, one of the world’s leading and most sought-after choreographers brings one of his latest masterpieces, Metamorphosis, to Perth following its world premiere with Dutch National Ballet. Based on classical ballet technique, the British choreographer creates contemporary, virtuoso and often emotionally charged works of art that endear him to the press, the public and leading ballet companies all over the world. Metamorphosis is a choreographic five-part work about hope and humanity and finding light in darkness.
Rising star George Williamson is a British choreographer working across ballet and contemporary genres. He is a versatile choreographer who alongside creating narrative and abstract modern ballets for the stage is also an established movement director for film and live performance in the commercial, fashion and visual arts worlds. George will present a new creation and one of his existing works, Wonderers.
