Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts (PICA) is located in the Perth Cultural Centre, Northbridge. PICA has a theatre and gallery spaces on the ground and first floors.

PARKING

There are two City of Perth Parking complexes located within a short distance of the PICA with accessible parking.

TRANSPORT

PICA is just a short walk from the Perth Train Station (take the pedestrian overpass to the Perth Cultural Centre) or the Roe Street Bus Station (enter the Perth Cultural Centre via James Street). As two major public transport hubs in Perth's CBD, there are a range of busses and trains servicing this area.

Transperth’s free Blue CAT buses also provide the closest pick-up and drop-off points for PICA located in Beaufort Street.

CYCLING

There are bicycle racks located outside the entry to PICA in the Perth Cultural Centre.

For performances in the PICA theatre:

Latecomers will not be admitted until a suitable break during the performance. Please check event page for the latecomer policy.

Mobile devices are to be turned off during the performance.

Photography and recording of any kind is prohibited during the performance.

Please note that no animals are permitted at this venue.

ACCESS INFORMATION

GETTING AROUND

Lift access to all levels including a vertical lifting platform to the ground level of the theatre.

Access to the venue is down 5 steps or a lift to the foyer area.

Theatre entry is off the foyer down 4 steps or a platform lift.

Pick up and set down points are available on William Street, close to the main entrance.

SEATING

Seating in the theatre consists of a tiered seating bank with the first row on the ground level.

Wheelchair spaces are available in the theatre in the front row.

TOILETS

Male and Female accessible toilets are available on the lower level in the PICA bar.

A universal access toilet is located on the first floor.

AUDIO

There is no audio loop available for performances at PICA
