Anna Reece joined Perth Festival to curate and deliver the 2025–28 Festivals. Anna is a highly respected, inspiring, generous and dynamic arts leader deeply committed to the development of a strong and vibrant arts ecology. She has a breadth of experience reaching across the not-for-profit arts and cultural sectors.

Her appointment completes a full circle back to the Festival she first joined nearly 10 years ago as Executive Producer of The Incredible and Phenomenal Journey of The Giants 2015. This free three-day spectacle at Perth Festival attracted 1.4 million people to the CBD and remains Australia's biggest single arts event.

We recommend checking Tixel.com as an authorised ticket reselling agent. You can sign up to event waitlists on their site to receive notifications if tickets for the event you want are listed for resale.

All Perth Festival tickets are subjected to delayed delivery and will send automatically once the performance is 90 days away. Tickets purchased where the performance is less than 90 days from the order date will send instantly.

Yes! Once you receive your tickets by email, you can add them to your digital wallet on your mobile device. Click the link under each ticket in your email to add them to your phone wallet so you don’t have to find them in your emails at a later date.

Films Vouchers and Gift Certificates cannot be added to your digital wallet.

If you can’t make it to your event, we can exchange your ticket for another performance of the same event at the same price reserve or higher, subject to availability and reasonable notice.  A $6 exchange fee will apply. 

If the same or higher price reserves are no longer available, we can exchange for a lower price reserve. In the event your tickets are moved to a lower price reserve, we will not be able to refund any difference in price. Contact our box office team to discuss your exchange.

We don't offer any refunds as all ticket and voucher sales are final, per our Terms and Conditions. 

We would recommend visiting Tixel.com to list your ticket for resale. As an authorised ticket reselling agent, Tixel provides a way to safely list your tickets for resale if you can no longer attend an event.

You can also gift your tickets to friends and family; our tickets do not require a name change.

If you need some help with listing your tickets, we have included some instructions for listing Perth Festival tickets below. You can also visit https://tixel.com/sell/email 

• Copy the email address provided and use it to forward your ticket(s) to Tixel*. Make sure you’re forwarding the barcoded tickets – not the order confirmation.

• Once you have forwarded the email, select 'I've forwarded my ticket'. This may take a few minutes to process.

• When verification is complete, you will need to toggle the 'sell this ticket' option for each ticket you need to list for sale, and continue to adjust the listing price.

*If you are only selling part of your order, you can send Tixel multiple tickets in one email, and use the toggle function to only select the specific tickets you need to sell.

Where a performance is not sold out, we offer door sales at most performances. Check the event page or chat with our box office team ahead of time at (08) 6488 5555, [email protected] or via Webchat.

For performances in a theatre, we recommend you arrive between 30 minutes and an hour before the show. If you are collecting tickets, please allow time to see the box office. The time on your ticket is when all patrons need to be seated.

For live music performances, your tickets will list the time the doors open. You can find set times on individual event pages closer to the event.

We reserve the right to exclude latecomers at certain events or to only let them into the show at a suitable point in the performance. Performances in the Perth Festival 2027 program may feature a complete lockout.

Please check the event page for details. Avoid any stress and plan your trip ahead of time. Our pre-performance email reminder will have information for parking, transport and dining destinations.

People under 18 years of age may attend events advertised as 18+, provided they attend with a responsible adult (such as a parent or guardian). 

Where any film screening in our Lotterywest Films program is advertised as having an R 18+ rating, patrons under 18 years of age, including children and babies, will not be permitted into Somerville Auditorium, in accordance with Australian Classification Board guidelines.

Please check specific event/film pages before booking your tickets.

Responsible adults are classified as:

• The minor's parent, step-parent, guardian, or grandparent.

• An adult with legal responsibility for the minor.

An older sibling or friend, even if over 18, is often not considered a responsible adult.

As a government issued ID is required for entry, security will verify that the accompanying adult fits the legal definition upon entry. Due to our Terms and Conditions we recommend attending with an appropriate guardian, as all ticket sales are final and refunds will not be provided for tickets purchased without being aware of applicable age restrictions. 

For patrons who require the assistance of a companion or carer, a second ticket can be issued at no cost to the Companion Card holder, during the same time you buy the original ticket.

Lotterywest Films do not offer group pricing discounts. Discounts are only available through the purchase of a Film Voucher Pack (6 or 12 tickets) which are sold at a discounted rate. Yes of course! Check out our 'Family' event type when filtering on The Program page. Please note some events have recommended age restrictions, which are published on the event page.

Some events may be strictly 18+ for licensing reasons and will not admit under 18 patrons even with a parent or guardian.  Please check individual event pages for details. 

We do! Some events that are not specified as 18+ allow children under 2 years of age to be seated on their responsible guardian's lap for the duration of the event. The policy may differ depending on the venue of your chosen performance. Check event pages for details. If you would like your youngster to have their own seat, you will need to purchase a ticket for them.

All venues that provide under 18 admissions will have parenting facilities available. Outdoor venues may have similar facilities. Check the event page for further information.

Arts and Culture Trust venues can provide your little one a booster seat to use for the show.  Please see venue ushers to request these when required.

When you purchase a ticket online you will automatically receive an order confirmation.

Perth Festival e-tickets are subject to delayed delivery, which means you will receive your barcoded tickets by email 90 days prior to your event. You can then add these tickets to your digital wallet or keep them in your email to show at the door.

If you can't see these in your inbox, please check your junk and spam folders as they can sometimes appear there.

Perth Festival’s Info Centre team can re-issue your tickets during opening hours.

You can also log into your Perth Festival account to view your tickets online, located under "Upcoming Events" on your account information page. These tickets can be downloaded to your phone for quick and easy access. They don't need to be printed off, as the barcodes can be scanned directly from your phone screen.

Visit our venue box office with your order number, which you can find on your order confirmation from [email protected]. If you don't have your order number, the Box Office can search for your order with the email address or phone number listed on your account.

Please call our Info Centre to arrange replacement tickets. If your tickets need to be posted again, a $6.50 postage fee will apply. You can also visit the Perth Festival Box Office to pick up replacement tickets free of charge. Once tickets are re-printed, the old ones will become invalid.

Perth Festival Gift Certificates are the perfect treat for family and friends. They can be used to purchase tickets to any event for sale via Perth Festival’s website or box offices, including Lotterywest Films. Gift Certificates are valid only for the season in which they are purchased. All Perth Festival 2027 Gift Certificates expire on Sun 21 March 2027, funds are unable to be carried over to the following Season. Please see our Terms and Conditions.

Perth Festival Gift Certificates can be purchased online. Gift Certificates can be printed in ticket-style format if requested, please contact [email protected] to request these. Postage fees will apply.

Gift Certificates can be used for purchases through Perth Festival sales channels, via our website, by phone email and at Perth Festival Box Offices. They cannot be used on third party websites.

Gift Certificates are not exchangeable for cash, including any unused value remaining at the end of the 2027 Festival Season.

Film voucher packs are pre-purchased vouchers to our Lotterywest Films Program, available in packs of 6 or 12. By purchasing these vouchers, you will receive a discounted rate from the standard Adult ticket price. 

Film vouchers are valid for any Lotterywest Films session within the season in which they are purchased. Vouchers purchased for the 2027 Season (Nov – Dec 2026 & Jan – Mar 2027 screenings) will expire on Sun 21 Mar 2027.

• Order number (found on your ticket vouchers and receipt)

• Ticket number(s) or how many vouchers you want converted from that order &

• The film title and date

We will send you the tickets by 4pm, subject to availability.

You can still redeem vouchers at the door. This is, however, subject to capacity. We strongly recommend redeeming your vouchers in advance to avoid missing out on the film you want to see. We will communicate availability via our social channels.

Film vouchers are redeemable for one ticket per voucher. One voucher cannot be exchanged for two tickets during the promotional Cheap Tuesday film screenings. 

You can still attend the Tuesday screening using the same number of vouchers as tickets needed.

Entry to East Perth Power Station is free. which admits you into the venue to enjoy Casa Musica and Boorloo Contemporary. As a licensed venue children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult (such as a parent or guardian).

Events in the Main Stage of East Perth Power Station require a paid ticket for entry. Minors will be admitted with a responsible adult. We recommend pre-purchasing your tickets online at perthfestival.com.au as door sales are not guaranteed.

Casa Musica will open at 5pm Thu - Sun. Discover all we have to offer and stay for performances throughout the evening – check the individual event pages for specific set times.

Yes! Children are welcome to Casa Musica when accompanied by a responsible adult. The large outdoor space, as a hub of Festival fever, will be brimming with free music in a piazza-style setting with food, drinks and Mediterranean vibes for friends or family. We ask that children are not present in the bar areas and that children are supervised.

We are working alongside the Department of Health to provide RID mosquito repellent at the venue. This will be on offer from the Summer St and riverside entry points, bar counters and at the box office.

You're welcome to bring your own (single seated) chair or picnic blanket to Casa Musica, which is located on the grassed area of the venue. We offer a variety of seating options including picnic tables, patio settings and picnic rugs in this part of the venue.

Main Stage is designed as a standing venue; chairs are not permitted in this space. If you require seating due to accessibility needs, please get in touch with our Info Centre at [email protected] or on 6488 5555 before the event.

If you are bringing a chair to Casa Musica and then attending a Main Stage event, we unfortunately are unable to permit the chairs in Main Stage and do not have a coat room on site.

As we are a licensed venue, under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult (such as a parent or guardian). The responsible adult must appropriately supervise and accompany the minor at all times. It is also advised that minors not be present in bar areas.

East Perth Power Station is a cashless venue. This includes our box office, all food and beverage outlets and artist merchandise sales. We accept card payments only.

Our team at the East Perth Power Station box office can assist you with purchasing or managing your tickets for the entire Festival season calendar!

Amex payments are not accepted.

While dogs are welcome we recommend you leave your dog at home. With the combination of live music, loud bass and lots of people, a venue of this nature can be unpredictable and overwhelming.

Service animals are always welcome.

Casa Musica
The venue is predominantly level grass with road-based pathways, making it easy to navigate for guests using wheelchairs or other mobility aids.

A variety of viewing options are available throughout the space, including picnic tables positioned on the grass. As the entire venue is on a single level, there are no stairs or elevated areas, allowing all guests to access and enjoy the area with ease.

Main Stage
The venues Main Stage featuring ticketed events is located directly off Casa Musica, towards the Box Office. This leads to both the General Admission (GA) and VIP areas via road-based pathways.

• General Admission (GA)
  The GA area is located on ground level and can be accessed via road-based pathways and compacted dirt surfaces. It offers an eye-level view of the stage and is situated a short distance from the main entry gate. Nearby amenities include accessible bathrooms, a bar, and a variety of seating options for guests wishing to rest, although these seating areas are not within view of the stage.

• VIP Area
  The VIP area is situated on a raised level, providing an elevated view of the performance. VIP guests can enter through the main gate via a dedicated VIP entry lane. Guests who are unable to access the VIP area via stairs can use an alternative accessible entrance. Please speak with Front of House staff on arrival for assistance.
  

Accessible Viewing Area
A dedicated viewing area is available for guests with accessible requirements and their companion. If you would like to discuss your needs or determine whether this area is suitable for you, please contact our Info Centre prior to your visit.

The East Perth Power Station site offers two step-free entrances and staff, security and volunteers to assist guests.

Main Entrance, Summers St
The main entrance is located on Summers Street and provides entrance to Casa Musica via a gentle gradient of a 250-metre road-based pathway. This is next to a drop off zone, designated taxi and ride share point, a short distance from the ACROD Parking and with security, staff and volunteers for assistance.

Riverfront Entrance
The riverfront entrance is located centrally within the venue and can be accessed via the riverside walkway. This walkway guides patrons from East Perth Train Station.

ACROD parking bays are available near the Summers St Entry. These can't be reserved ahead of time and will be subject to availability from venue open.

East Perth Train station has 3 ACROD bays.

On Tuesday evenings you can attend Lotterywest Film Festival for only $12.50 per ticket!

Tickets can be purchased online in advanced, by selecting the Cheap Tuesday ticket price on a Tuesday night film and how many tickets you would like.

You can also buy these tickets at the box office.

A single film voucher is not able to be exchanged for two tickets for this promotion. 

Bring a mate or just bring yourself to enjoy a cheap Tuesday movie night.
