Plugged In is a program designed to uplift and empower women, trans and non-binary folks working in the Perth music scene. Aimed at musicians who are just starting out, this series of engagements helps grow your confidence and comfort in the production and technical side of the music performance industry.

About Plugged In

Guided by the phenomenal Bec Price of PROJECT BEXX, six participants experienced a series of open sound-checks, performances, talks with sound technicians and artists, behind-the-scenes venue access, and technical learning opportunities.

Plugged In 2024 was run with generous collaboration and support from WAM (West Australian Music) and WOMPP (Women of Music Production Perth).

This program was open to women, non-binary folk, and trans or queer folk under 26 years of age.
