Plugged In

A music program for those just starting out!

Plugged In is a program designed to uplift and empower women, trans and non-binary folks working in the Perth music scene. Aimed at musicians who are just starting out, this series of engagements will see you grow your confidence and comfort in the production and technical side of the music performance industry.

About Plugged In

Guided by the phenomenal Bec Price of PROJECT BEXX, six participants will experience a series of open sound-checks, performances, talks with sound technicians and artists, behind-the-scenes venue access, and technical learning opportunities.

Plugged In is being run with generous collaboration and support from WAM (West Australian Music) and WOMPP (Women of Music Production Perth).

Please note this program is open to women, non-binary folk, and trans or queer folk under 26 years of age. Priority will be given to applicants who are not currently accessing institutional training in music. If you are not sure whether this program is for you, get in touch and ask us.
