Producer Forum
For Producers & Self-Producing Artists
Producer Forum is an opportunity up to 35 early career to established producers to engage in some bigger-thinking conversations with visiting producers, develop new relationships, and build community.
The program is an opportunity for producers to hear how others produce; reflect on their own producing practice; and to network with others in the program. We are pleased to collaborate with Performing Lines WA for another year of bringing producers together during Perth Festival.

The application process involves filling out a form. You are also welcome to apply in a way that suits your needs. Please email Melanie Julien-Martial, Associate Producer, to discuss alternatives to video.

Producer Forum is for emerging to established West Australian based producers and self-producing artists. You can be a producer in any art form.
We strongly encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with disability and people who identify as culturally and linguistically diverse.

You should expect to attend 3-5 Producer Forum events between 5 February to 3 March 2023. The majority of these events will occur on weekday mornings. You may also receive invitations to additional optional events throughout the Festival.

Participation in the Producer Forum is free. We also have funding support for regional artists and artists with disability.

We have funds to support access requirements and will ask you what type of support you may need in the application. For example, you may require taxis, a support worker, or something else.

Some additional funding is available for support and will be allocated once we know the successful applicants. The funding may not support all your needs and you may consider applying to the November Regional Arts Fund Quick Response Grant or DLGSC Arts Short Notice Activity Program.
