Jordan Giusti
Director
Jordan Giusti is an award winning director based in Naarm (Melbourne), Australia. He is best known for Floodland, a documentary feature film centred on the community of Lismore who live in Australia’s most climate affected area, which won the Sustainable Futures Award at Sydney Film Festival 2025, the world largest environmental film prize. Prior to Floodland, Jordan completed numerous short films including Grevillea (Berlinale’s Generation 14plus Competition, 2020) and Reptile (WINNER MIFF 2021 Emerging Australian Filmmaker award). Jordan is also twice Australian Directors Guild awards nominated for his short form work. Jordan’s films have since had notable screenings in competition at Sitges IFFFC and Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival. He is currently eyeing a transition into narrative filmmaking incorporating hybrid, docu-fiction techniques in the tradition of his short film work.
