Here's all the info you need to get the most out of your Backstories experience:
Will there be seating?
Only limited seating will be provided so we suggest you bring a picnic blanket or a low picnic chair. If you are bringing high picnic chairs, please set up on the perimeter of the event so that others can see.
Will there be food and drink?
Bring a picnic and settle in for the evening. There won't be any food options at the event but our friends at East African Coffee will be selling tea, coffee, chai and hot chocolate.
Please note that this is an alcohol free event.
How do I get there?
Stirling Civic Gardens are right beside the Stirling train station and bus port. There will be no parking available at the park, but there is plenty of free parking across the street from Stirling Civic Gardens at the City of Stirling Administration Centre, 25 Cedric Street, Stirling.
What can I expect?
This is a family-friendly opportunity to hear stories from and about your community. Six storytellers from the City of Stirling will tell 10 minute stories from their lives. Between stories, local musician GunFu will play, whilst you enjoy your picnic and chat about the stories you have heard.
