How to Have the Best Night at Lotterywest Films
1. First things first
Choose the film you want to see. Arrive early or pre-book.
We know that sounds obvious, but there are just so many great ones to choose from! (Phone a friend if you have to).
If you know exactly when you’re coming you’d be smart to pre-book your ticket online. Of course, if you’re planning a few visits then a film voucher is definitely the way to go. You can redeem your voucher for a particular night by using our WebChat! We highly recommend pre-booking but you can also just rock up and use a voucher at the gate. Arrive as early as you can to make sure you get in and can find yourself the best spot.

2. Arriving at the venue
Sting famously sang ‘Don’t Stand So Close to Me’, and while that was for entirely different reasons, we do need you to be mindful when heading into the venue.
Before you head out have your smartphone at the ready with your COVID-19 Proof of Vaccination Certificate and be ready to scan the QR code when you get to Somerville to register your attendance.
Please visit our COVID safe page for the most up-to-date information about attending our events.

3. Grab a seat
Once you’re inside choose your seat and get comfy.
Our wonderful supporters Lotterywest have provided some cushions to use plus we've got beanbags! It's a good idea to BYO comfort items just in case.
We recommend keeping one seat spare between groups of people. We understand that you’ll be catching up with mates and you might have to save a seat or two, but don’t be a hog and take up space you’re not using.

4. Have a picnic
You’re in, your seat is sorted and now it’s time to enjoy some pre-show picnicking.
Order a delicious pizza from Charlies or another tasty treat if pizza’s not your thing. You can even pre-order so it’s ready and waiting for you. Pack your own spread and be as gourmet as you like – or not! Bring your own booze or buy a drink from the bar – ahhh now you’re ready ….

5. Take your seat and enjoy the film
Sure, we all love Perth, but haven’t you been itching to get out and see some more of the world this year?
Our program is filled with incredible international cinema that will transport you to another time and place. So enjoy it! You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll get angry, inspired and excited! Sometimes all in the one night!
Spend quality time with your fellow film lovers and have the best night at Lotterywest Films.
Lotterywest Films runs until 3 April 2022
