One German farmhouse. Four girls separated by time, but whose lives begin to mirror each other. The tumultuous history of a nation in the 20th century. A joint winner of the 2025 Cannes Film Festival Jury Prize, Sound of Falling is a sensory and poetic novelistic epic.
'Cinema is too small a word for what this sprawling yet intimate epic achieves in its ethereal, unnerving brilliance.'
