VibeSQD (VSQD) is dedicated to creating authentic opportunities for the street dance community and pushing Western Australia’s vibrant scene into the spotlight it deserves. Grounded in core hip-hop values of peace, love, unity and shared joy, the collective utilises the power of dance to bring people together.
Proudly collaborating with leading institutions and community partners such as STRUT Dance, Hawaiian Group, the Art Gallery of WA, Red Bull Australia, and Sneakerland, VSQD strives to advocate local dancers, elevate street styles and build sustainable momentum for street dance culture across WA.
STRUT
A choreographic centre based in Boorloo, Western Australia, STRUT nurtures and sustains a thriving community of diverse dance artists and connects them with audiences to share their work.
Perth Moves brings artists, communities and audiences together through performance, workshops, public classes, dance battles and large-scale participatory works. Across city spaces, the program connects local practice with leading artists from Australia and around the world, creating new opportunities to experience dance as performance, exchange and collective action.
