Perth Festival is seeking a technical all-rounder to join our 2020 Festival Production and Programming team.

We are an annually curated multi-genre arts festival in Perth, WA that showcases the very best of national and international film, theatre, circus, dance, literature and music. The Lotterywest Film season runs from November to April and the Perth Festival runs across February and March, but we are busy all year planning and preparing for delivery. Our team expands from a core team of 27 to over 200 at the peak of Festival – creating a unique, fast paced and ever-changing working environment.

The role of Production Coordinator is a fixed-term position, commencing in August 2019 and concluding in March 2020.

  • Works within the Production and Programming Team and across various venues and events to provide technical oversight and production support to the 2020 Perth Festival program
  • Manages schedules, budgets and information relating to specific shows and venues
  • Keeps visiting artists, companies, suppliers and venues happy by meeting all of the technical and OH&S requirements for their shows

Our ideal team member will be:

  • An experienced performing arts production coordinator / manager
  • A dedicated risk manager who is always thinking about health and safety
  • A detail oriented scheduler who enjoys juggling multiple projects
  • A positive, proactive and professional team member
