We’ve pulled together some exciting FREE experiences that are absolutely worth your time.
1. The SUNSET LOUNGE
Lose yourself in a night-spa experience at The Alex Hotel in the heart of Northbridge
Take the elevator up to the second floor at The Alex Hotel and check-in to The Sunset Lounge, a free night-spa experience unlike any other. Installations by artists Tarryn Gill and Benjamin Barretto are ready to bathe you in light and sound as you literally lie down in your hotel bed, with creatures easing you through an otherworldly dreamscape. Once your spa experience has finished, a light installation designed by Nemo Gandossini-Poirier awaits you at Shadow Wine Bar.

2. ART EXHIBITIONS GALORE!
Our entire Visual Arts program is FREE
This rich program has so much to experience for all ages at a variety of galleries across Perth metro area. Our 2022 program offers a series of exhibitions ranging from video works, immersive installations, paintings, sculpture and so much more.
Escape into these alternate realities and distinct ‘worlds’ crafted by some of the most talked about artists today.
3. Writers Weekend and Family Day in Freo
Spend the weekend with top authors in the stunning grounds at Fremantle Arts Centre.
Writers Weekend is always the most fun! Filled with unforgettable conversations and storytelling this weekend is accessible to all with our Pay What You Can pricing structure. You can pay as little or as much as you want from $0 to attend any session.
On the Sunday bring the whole family for a morning of FREE activities for the young ones at Family Day. Registrations are required.

4. NOONGAR WONDERLAND
Perry Lakes comes alive with this multi-sensory experience guided by stories of Country.
Weave your way through an immersive light and sound installation throughout surrounding parklands. Sit with First Nations artists and handcraft something both age-old and new. Feel the pulse of song and movement as the energy of the sea and groundwater overflow into a technicolour dance party. This is Noongar-futurism for the old, the young, for everyone! More details on the journey to be released in January.

5. PERTH SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA CONCERTS
Enjoy a concert under the stars in Rockingham or Yanchep with PSO.
Symphony on the Green in Rockingham features a special Perth Festival commission of a new work from Richard Walley alongside PSO. This concert weaves together Noongar and Celtic stories and sings of connections to Country.
Symphony Under the Stars at Splendid Park in Yanchep features members of PSO performing their trademark energetic programming.
