Special Projects Administrator

Perth Festival Special Projects is an exciting new venture from Perth Festival that was created to further our charitable purpose - to enrich life through art in Western Australia.  This new division of the Festival is designed to drive our ambition to become a year-round cultural organisation that delivers always for our community, audiences and supporters.

The role of Special Projects Administrator is a rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor as we embark on this new chapter. You will be the right hand of our Director of Special Projects anticipating information and support that may be required, as well as working closely with the Special Projects Creative Producer.  This role is integral to the execution of our new projects and will gain a deep understanding of all aspects of the organisation, including who the key stakeholders are, and the requirements of the critical pathways.

A still from Perth Festival's 2021 Highway to Hell event, a musicians play on a stage with colourful balloons, a large crowd watches on, behind is the rainbow shipping container installation in Fremantle.

Perth Festival is a dynamic environment that engages with some of the most incredible professionals, artists and art in the world. We work hard, we love what we do and we empower our team to work flexibly in a way that suits their lifestyle.  This role is based in Perth, Western Australia and is a full time contract position for an initial period of 3 years.  The ideal candidate will be able to commence as soon as possible.

If this sounds like the right fit for you, please respond to the selection criteria listed in the position description and forward a copy of your CV to recruitment.

Applications close at midnight on Sunday, 24 October 2021 and candidates should be available to interview in person or online from Thursday 28 October 2021.

We actively strive for diversity in our teams. Qualified applicants are considered for employment without regard to age, sex, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, or disabil.
