WA Mixtape
Presented in association with RTRFM
We’re taking over Government House Gardens for a chilled-out celebration of the best in WA music from the past and present performed by the stars of the future (and some old faves).
RTRFM know the local music scene better than anyone, so who better to pull together a three-hour live WA Mixtape? Expect an aural smorgasbord of bands and music covering an eclectic range of styles and eras. From the full frontal punk of Dennis Cometti with legendary Kim Salmon to the quiet and mesmorising Rabbit Island or the electro buzz of Your Girl Pho with Katy Steele, there’s sure to be a sound you love (or used to love and you haven’t heard for ages)!
Our huge WA Mixtape line-up will each perform a cover of an iconic WA song, as well as one of their own. Picture classics from The Stems, Jedediah or even Tame Impala performed by Carla Geneve, Perth Symphony Orchestra or Queency.
Take a seat, relax with mates in the gardens and enjoy an evening with Perth Festival and RTRFM.
This is a family friendly event.
