Bring the kids to settle in for Story Time. In this session cartoonist and animator Nathan Viney joins graphic novellist Sarah Searle to read from their most recent works.

Nathan Vass Viney

Nathan is a cartoonist, writer and 2D animator living in Walpole, WA. He has worked as an animator on a BBC Children’s program, self-published three comic books and has run a successful newspaper strip titled; Walpole Kids Comics since 2020.

Sarah Winifred Searle

An award-winning author Sarah originally hails from spooky New England in the US and currently lives in sunny Boorloo (Perth, Australia). Sarah writes and draws comics and prose, telling stories across many genres that explore themes of identity, health, relationships and history. The Greatest Thing, their YA graphic novel, is a Lammy Award finalist and shortlisted for the CBCA and Prime Minister’s Literary Awards.
