Britain’s wild child of dance Michael Clark and his award-winning company make their Perth debut with the latest creation that has fans and critics raving.

Erik Satie, Patti Smith and David Bowie provide the soundtrack for a potent cocktail of dance and iconic music. This Olivier Award-nominated triple bill of gorgeously arresting choreography and performances, by a company of fearless and otherworldly dancers, is ‘an adrenaline shot that sends you away buzzing’ (The Evening Standard, UK).

to a simple, rock ‘n’ roll . . . song. is an opportunity for students to explore the work of Michael Clark, a defining figure of modern dance whose work is grounded in contemporary culture.

DANCE WORKSHOP
Bring a contemporary pop or rock song to the workshop to explore how a piece of music affects choreography and how to work against it. Michael Clark’s technique will be followed through selected phrases of movement, with a focus on style, rhythm, phrasing, context and lyrics. Find out more.
