The Salt Madonna
Catherine Noske is an academic at UWA and the editor of Westerly Magazine. Join her as she chats with Rosemary Sayer about her new book The Salt Madonna, a novel about stories, icons and saviours in rural Australia.
Dr Catherine Noske is a lecturer in creative writing and editor of Westerly Magazine at the University of Western Australia. Her work has been awarded the AD Hope Prize, the Elyne Mitchell Prize for Rural Women Writers, and was shortlisted for the 2015 Dorothy Hewett Award. She has judged the ALS Gold Medal, the WA Premier’s Book Prize and the TAG Hungerford. The Salt Madonna (Picador) is her first novel.
