Opportunities for Teachers

Teachers are invited to explore current industry trends, exchange ideas and network with educators and arts professionals, and experience cutting edge, live performances. 

Teacher Professional Learning Day

In a full day Professional Learning event, teachers will meet with a range of local and visiting artistic, production and/or management professionals commissioned to present work or talks at the festival. This event will provide opportunities for educators to network with arts industry professionals, share in creative process and develop new ideas for their own creative approach to producing events in the school environment.

The program schedule and speakers will be finalised closer to the festival, however, you may register your interest now and save the date!

Venue: The Blue Room Theatre, Northbridge

Cost: FREE

Education Arts Industry pass 

Arts educators are eligible to register for the Education Arts Industry pass. This provides exclusive access to: 

  • Early* access to booking tickets from 15 - 21 November 2021 (Same as Friends of Festival pre-booking period) 

  • 10% discount off two full priced Adult tickets per show for most Festival events

  • 15% discount if you book more than 3 or more events in one transaction

  • $17 tickets for Lotterywest Film Festival events (maximum two tickets per event)
  • Access to industry only events, including Crit Club and Open Door (more info on these coming soon)

  • Direct emails about any industry previews, dress rehearsals & discount tickets. 

  • Food and drink discounts  

*To take advantage of the early access booking, please register by Monday 1st November.
