For Artists & Arts Workers

Sector Development

We have worked in close consultation with artists and organisations to respond to the needs of our local industry. Our 2020 program of activities includes workshops, masterclasses, labs and conversations so a wide range of people are given special opportunities to interact with Festival artists and gain insights into who they are and the ‘how’ and ‘why’ of what they do.

Emerging practitioners from across disciplines are invited to get stuck into the big ideas of the Festival and reflect on their own artistic practice. With an intensive program of events including performances, discussions, workshops and tours, this is an opportunity for emerging artists to dive into the heart of Perth Festival.

The Perth Festival Producers Lab connects local producers with the wider arts world. Producers from the Festival’s program are invited to share insight into the range of experiences they have faced in their work and careers. Find out more here.
