For mid-career to established artists and creatives from any artform

About Fuel

Fuel is a new pilot program for mid-career practitioners to spend time with key Perth Festival artists and staff and consider works of scale. Artists and creatives will have the opportunity for time, space and permission to think big and consider festival-scaled work - whether that be for a local council, a regional or national festival.
The 2022 program includes time with Iain Grandage (Artistic Director), Rachael Whitworth (Head of Programming), Nigel Jamieson (Director of Escape, Boorna Waanginy and Home), Anna Kosky (Producer, Escape), and attending various events and Connect: For Arts Industry events.
