Brand Activator

Perth Festival is seeking a design and installation expert to create and install the physical expressions of our brand throughout the 2020 Festival campaign.  

We are an annually curated multi-genre arts festival in Perth, WA that showcases the very best of national and international film, theatre, circus, dance, literature and music. The Lotterywest Film season runs from November to April and the Perth Festival runs across February and March, but we are busy all year planning and preparing for delivery. Our team expands from a core team of 27 to over 200 at the peak of Festival – creating a unique, fast paced and ever-changing working environment.

The role of Brand Activator is a fixed-term position, commencing in September 2019 and concluding in March 2020.

  • Creatively maximises the exposure of the 2020 Festival brand in the community, both in and out of Perth venues
  • Builds and leads a team of signage installation experts
  • Works with the Marketing and Communications team to strategically align the activation of our brand with our audience
  • Develops ingenious way-finding solutions for every Festival space

Our ideal team member will tick these boxes:

  • A solution-focused designer that understands large scale installs and is happy to work with their team on-the-ground
  • Someone who really ‘gets’ brand and can carry this over to develop and implement signage
  • A super-efficient scheduler that can provide creative input in to brand expressions whilst juggling hundreds of activation and install deadlines
