Earning two awards at the Venice Film Festival, this is the first ever feature film made in Samoa by Samoans. The moving drama offers a look inside a little known culture that holds faith, family and belonging above all else. Humble and small in stature, Saili shares his life with wife Vaaiga and her daughter in an isolated island village. When their peaceful existence is disrupted by a threat to their plantation, and Vaaiga's past, Saili must speak up and defend all he holds dear.
