AFTER PARTIES

The night continues with free entry from 10pm. Beck's Music Box is the late-night place to see great local and international bands and DJs. Keep the party going beyond the main show or drop by after any Festival event.

The full slate of amazing acts will be released in late January, so make sure to keep up-to-date online at MySpace or Facebook – and while you're there, sign up for our eNews.

Opening Night: DJ J-Rocc, one of the original turntablists and founding member of seminal instrumental hip-hop force the Beat Junkies.

Closing Night: DJ Gilles Peterson, world renowned DJ and tastemaker from the UK.

Entry to After Parties limited; ticket holders have priority.

Tawdry Heartburn's Manic Cures

Tawdry Heartburn – a 196 centimetre-tall nail technician, palmist and manic-curist of secrets – paints and polishes while inviting guests to divulge a secret via mechanical 'gossip machines'.

Anonymous secrets are handwritten or typed, then placed in Tawdry's secret box. At the end of each day, the box is emptied and contributions are added to the ever expanding Wall of Secrets for passersby to read. They are later added to aworldofsecrets.com, a website documenting secrets disclosed at past performances.
