THE TRAGICAL LIFE OF CHEESEBOY
BY FINEGAN KRUCKEMEYER, CONCEIVED BY ANDY PACKER
SLINGSBY
Those who enjoy good old-fashioned storytelling are invited to step inside a magical travelling tent for an enchanting and timeless tale. Simple lights, mirrors and magnets create the perfect atmosphere for the tale of an orphaned boy made of cheese, from a world of cheese.
Following a catastrophic event of fondue proportions, Cheeseboy awakes alone on Earth anxious to find his parents. His quest is hampered by an argument with the moon, but aided by kind strangers who help him find a new home, of sorts. This quirky, delicate and amusing theatre show has shades of Edward Scissorhands and The Little Prince. Its story of loss and acceptance is universal and will appeal to adults and children aged 8 and up.
Magical and charming, so full of whimsicality and merry eccentricity … a marvel of exquisite theatre-craft. THE HERALD
